SUMMARY OF JOB

This position assumes responsibility for the daily operations of the Practice. Supervises all office, clerical, and support staff and maintains adequate supplies and equipment. Functions typically in a more complex medical office two or more physicians, multiple office sites with multiple testing/medical services. Exhibits independent decision making abilities. Assumes overall responsibility for billing and AR follow-up within the office. Performs as backup for the office staff. All individuals, within the scope of their position are responsible to perform their job in light of the Mission & Values of the Health System. RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS

High school graduate or equivalent. Completion of Medical Assistant training preferred. Some post high school education preferred. Excellent knowledge of physician practice reimbursement methodologies and medical terminology. Excellent communication skills. Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience required. Minimum of 4 years physician office experience required. Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD 10 and CPT
