We are looking to hire a practice manager to join our team! The ideal candidate would have excellent customer service service skills, good technical skills and a great attitude. Our fully renovated 2,200 square foot hospital is equipped with cutting edge technology. We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Veterinary Practice Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of a busy veterinary clinic. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the smooth functioning of the practice by managing staff, finances, and medical administrative processes. Your leadership will foster a positive environment that promotes exceptional patient care, efficient workflow, and team collaboration. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical office management, and excellent organizational skills to drive operational excellence and elevate the client experience. Duties Oversee daily clinic operations, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure optimal productivity and patient care. Manage financial aspects such as budgeting, billing, invoicing, and fiscal management to maintain profitability and financial health of the practice. Supervise staff including veterinary technicians, receptionists, and support personnel; provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as
HIPAA, JCAHO
standards, and OSHA requirements while maintaining confidentiality of medical records. Coordinate with medical director on hiring processes, staff development, and conflict resolution to foster a motivated team environment. Oversee medical administrative support functions including billing procedures, and inventory control. Requirements Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare management within a veterinary or dental setting; clinic experience is highly valued. Strong supervisory skills with prior supervising experience in a healthcare or administrative environment. Knowledge of fiscal management including budgeting, financial management practices, and utilization management strategies. Experience with office management tasks such as human resources functions, staff scheduling, and conflict resolution. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail; critical care or acute care experience is advantageous. Strong communication skills coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team leadership.
