Practice Manager:

Kindred Path Vet (KPV) Kindred Path Vet is a mobile, in-home integrative veterinary oncology practice focused on providing compassionate, personalized cancer care, integrative medicine, and end-of-life guidance for pets and their families. We are looking for a highly organized, compassionate, and detail-oriented Receptionist/Practice Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for clients and help manage the day-to-day operations of the practice. This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, proactive, professional, and comfortable supporting clients navigating cancer diagnoses and end-of-life care for their pets. Responsibilities Answer client phone calls, emails, and text messages professionally and promptly Schedule and coordinate in-home appointments efficiently based on location and provider availability Ensure consent forms are completed prior to appointments Request, organize, and upload medical records from referring veterinarians Create concise AI-assisted medical summaries for veterinarian review Collect and securely maintain credit cards on file for new appointments Send invoices, process payments, and follow up on unpaid balances Maintain organization across scheduling, invoicing, email, and medical record systems Communicate updates and urgent concerns to the veterinarian Assist with marketing efforts including social media posts, email campaigns, mailers, and client outreach Occasionally assist with in-home technician duties including blood draws, IV catheter placement, and patient restraint as needed Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work independently and problem solve proactively Compassionate, calm, and professional demeanor Veterinary experience required Familiarity with veterinary terminology and medical records required Comfortable handling sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism Experience with scheduling, invoicing, and client communication systems Position Details Primarily remote/virtual administrative role Flexible scheduling depending on workload and practice needs Opportunity to grow alongside a small, independently owned specialty practice and play an integral role in building and expanding the business.
