Inclusive Excellence Statement Advertised Job Summary Veterans Benefits Manager provides core services to USC's student veterans regarding benefits certification including but not limited to providing support services to student veterans seeking benefits; processing of VA education benefits through VA Enrollment Manager and coding students in Banner Student Information System; handling escalated issues; conducting internal audits and responding successfully to external audits; providing reports on student veterans and benefits usage; and providing resources to the campus community on veterans benefits. Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions) Preferred Qualifications- Previous enrollment management experience and experience with Banner Student Information systems. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, work under pressure, solve complex problems, make decisions and ensure that processes meet service deadlines, expectations and goals.
- Demonstrated initiative, be able to work well individually and in team settings, and should possess an outgoing, dynamic and flexible character.
- Demonstrated leader with supervisory experience.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, keyboarding, data entry, word processing and communications skills both written and oral.
