As the heartbeat of the front office, you'll oversee daily scheduling, patient communication, billing, and team coordination, ensuring smooth and efficient clinic operations. Your expertise in medical administrative support and healthcare management will drive excellence in patient care delivery while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards. Duties Supervise front desk staff, including receptionists and administrative assistants, to ensure high-quality patient service and efficient clinic operations Manage appointment scheduling using dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft , optimizing patient flow and reducing wait times Oversee billing processes, insurance claims, and collections while ensuring accuracy and compliance with managed care policies Maintain meticulous medical records and ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality and data security Coordinate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth communication between patients and providers, supporting acute care and general dental procedures Handle human resources responsibilities including staff training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution Monitor clinic budgets, perform financial management tasks such as budgeting and fiscal oversight to ensure operational sustainability Implement office policies aligned with healthcare management standards like JCAHO or Epic systems for electronic health records (EHR) management Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations related to dental records, utilization management, and dental terminology standards Experience- minimum 5 years being lead mgr Proven experience in dental office management within a dental or healthcare setting, ideally with dental clinic experience or hospital environment familiarity Demonstrated supervisory experience leading administrative teams in fast-paced clinics or hospitals Strong proficiency in dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft ; experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks is highly desirable Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards including JCAHO requirements Background in fiscal management including budgeting, financial oversight, billing procedures, and managed care processes Excellent organizational skills combined with effective human resources capabilities to foster team development and operational excellence Join us to lead a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional dental care while advancing your career in healthcare administration!
