The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive medical office experience, and a passion for animal healthcare. As the Veterinary Assistant Manager, you will coordinate clinical functions, ensure compliance with state regulations, and support a team of veterinary assistants. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality animal care while managing practice efficiency and staff development. Duties Supervise daily clinic operations, including patient flow, staff scheduling, and administrative workflows to optimize productivity. Provide leadership in human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives. Coordinate with veterinary teams on medical management procedures, acute care protocols, and nursing responsibilities to ensure exceptional patient outcomes. Support clinic administration through medical administrative support tasks like appointment scheduling and inventory control of medical supplies. Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration, continuous learning, and high morale among staff members. Skills Extensive veterinary experience (at least 10 years) combined with strong medical office management skills. Proven supervisory experience within a veterinary setting. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology essential for safeguarding patient information. Experience with hospital or clinic operations involving acute care and critical care procedures.
Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
