Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and experienced Veterinary Receptionist/Office Manager to join our dynamic animal healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients and their pets, ensuring a welcoming and efficient front office environment. You will also oversee daily clinic operations, coordinate appointments, manage medical billing and collections, and support veterinary staff with administrative tasks. Your passion for animal care combined with strong organizational skills will help create a positive experience for both clients and their beloved pets. Additional office duties also expected with this role. Duties Greet clients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage patient check-in/check-out processes Handle medical billing and collections with accuracy and professionalism Facilitate effective communication between clients and veterinary team regarding pet care instructions and treatment plans Assist owner with office duties including monthly billing, daily on-line pharmacy management, daily banking and postal duties, etc Requirements Proven experience as a veterinary receptionist or office manager in a busy animal clinic or hospital Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal handling techniques, and aseptic procedures Knowledge of animal anatomy and critical care protocols for various species including equine and other large animals experience preferred Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join our team to make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals and their owners!
