Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dental Office Manager to lead the daily operations of our private, single doctor dental practice. This vital role combines leadership, administrative expertise, and clinical understanding to ensure smooth practice management, exceptional patient care, and efficient team coordination. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong fiscal and dental office management skills and foster a positive, patient-centered atmosphere. As the cornerstone of our practice's success, you will oversee staff supervision, financial oversight, compliance with healthcare regulations, and the seamless integration of administrative and clinical functions. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of dental office operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and clinical support functions Manage financial activities such as budgeting, billing processes, insurance claims, and revenue cycle management using systems like Eaglesoft Supervise staff including administrative personnel, dental assistants, and hygienists to promote teamwork and high performance Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality of dental records and patient information Coordinate with clinical staff to uphold standards of dental care quality and safety protocols Implement human resources practices including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution Present treatment plans to patients and discuss insurance coverage and financial arrangements Requirements Proven experience managing a dental or medical office with a strong understanding of dental office workflows and clinical procedures Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff, patients, insurance providers, and external vendors Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and healthcare systems while maintaining attention to detail Join us as our Dental Office Manager to lead a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding dental care.
