DESCRIPTION

The Practice Manager provides operational leadership and administrative oversight for the Physician team, the clinical support staff, patients and visitors at West Texas Spine Institute. The position manages performance of all clinical sites, and the associated teams in regard to the goals of strategic initiative achievement and continuous progression toward our mission. The Orthopedics Manager is responsible for the execution of practice operations at multiple West Texas locations. This Specialty Manager of Orthopedics is responsible for effective management of service-line financial performance and must always maintain a Service Before Self culture committed to making a difference in all patients that we treat.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Executes and oversees all aspects of medical practice, operations Ongoing development and implementation of policies & procedures Knowledge of provider contracts Coordinates and supports leadership and Director of Investments & Analytics to create an annual budget and demonstrates fiscal responsibility to manage practice budgets, planning and implementation of future operations including business plan development, market research etc Pro-actively reviews and strategizes action plans to improve financial performance Actively engages with providers to ensure maximum productivity Plans, implements and evaluates effectiveness, efficiency and quality of all services. practice. EHR Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required:

Minimum of BA/BS in Healthcare or Business-related field preferred 3-5 years management experience preferably in medical practice operations Demonstrated customer service focus and outcomes Basic understanding of financial systems (budgets, income statements, A/R) Excellent interpersonal communication skills Exemplifies a Service Before Self mindset Strong computer skills including EHR and MS Office Fluent in Spanish a plus, strongly preferred. #
