The Practice Manager is responsible for designated practices and collaborates within an integrated healthcare delivery system. Customers include, but are not limited to regional leadership, physicians, providers, practice management, and staff. External customers include patients, and their caretakers, regulatory bodies, vendors, and the community. This position also develops plans to identify and reach short and long-term goals and assure development and compliance with operating and capital budgets and achievements of financial performance. This position supports 6-11 providers and supervises the staff associates. The scope of this role includes practice management of an outpatient ambulatory site. Management includes multiple specialties, clinics and providers. The clinic operations will report directly to this role, and this role will have direct supervisory and managerial functions of the clinic's practice. This role will report to the Director of Regional Operations. Responsible for administration of business, financial and practice functions of the practice. Assists with the development and maintenance of physician and community relations to further the delivery of our services within the community. Serves as a patient advocate as well as a role model for ethical management behavior and promotes an awareness and understanding of positive ethical and moral principles This position requires the skills and abilities to build collaborative relationships with physicians and other members of the management team to fulfill his/her accountabilities. In addition, the incumbent serves as the liaison with each service line and joint venture within the clinic. A key role of this position is to build strong relationships with physicians and associates for the Physician Group. Job Requirements In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare related field with at least one year management experience Entrepreneurial spirit and have the skills and to lead a small business Ability to critically think and engage teams in problem sovling Have a track record of meeting and exceeding key performance metrics HS/GED required Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare administration, business, finance, or related field required MHA or MBA preferred Physical Requirements Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally) Where You'll Work With many locations across Utah, Holy Cross Medical Group offers providers a true opportunity to live their mission while experiencing the support of a built-in network, generous benefits, professional growth, and an amazing quality of life.
