Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dental Office Manager to lead our dental practice with enthusiasm and professionalism. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional patient care, and manage administrative functions to create a smooth and efficient clinic environment. Your leadership will drive the success of the practice by coordinating staff, managing financials, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Duties Lead and supervise the dental office team, including administrative staff, dental assistants, and hygienists, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment Oversee fiscal management by budgeting, billing, coding, and ensuring accurate financial records using systems like Eaglesoft Manage medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality Coordinate patient scheduling, insurance processing, and billing to optimize practice efficiency and patient satisfaction Supervise office operations including inventory management, supply procurement, and maintenance of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems Ensure adherence to healthcare standards such as JCAHO accreditation requirements and OSHA regulations Handle human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution to maintain a high-performing team Qualifications Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare administration with a strong background in Dental office operations Extensive knowledge of dental clinic workflows, dental /medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare regulations such as HIPAA Proficiency in practice management software such as Eaglesoft Demonstrated supervisory experience with excellent leadership skills to motivate staff and improve team performance Strong fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial reporting, managed care processes, and billing procedures Familiarity with medical administrative support functions including insurance claims processing and patient communication Ability to navigate acute care or hospital environments is a plus; veterinary or critical care experience can be advantageous but not required Experience in presenting treatment plans Experience in selling and Dental marketing Demonstrates a strong team-oriented spirit, aligns with our vision and values, and possesses the ability to effectively manage multiple offices with growth and expansion potential.
