Position Summary The Dental Office Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the practice, overseeing administrative staff, coordinating treatment plan presentations, monitoring financial performance, and ensuring an outstanding patient experience. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of dental office operations. Leadership & Operations Oversee daily operations of the general and orthodontic practice. Manage, train, and support front office team members. Develop and implement office policies and procedures. Foster a positive, team-oriented workplace culture. Treatment Planning & Case Acceptance Present treatment plans and financial arrangements to patients. Educate patients on recommended treatment options and benefits. Review insurance coverage and estimate patient responsibilities. Monitor case acceptance rates and implement strategies to improve treatment acceptance. Financial Management Monitor collections, accounts receivable, and daily deposits. Ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation. Oversee payment plans and patient financing options. Work closely with the billing team to optimize revenue cycle management. Administrative Oversight Supervise scheduling, patient communication, and customer service initiatives. Ensure insurance verification and claim processing are completed accurately and timely. Manage vendor relationships, office supplies, and inventory. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and practice policies. Patient Experience Ensure patients receive exceptional service from scheduling through treatment completion. Resolve patient concerns professionally and promptly. Support practice growth through patient retention and referral initiatives. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of dental office management experience required. Experience in treatment plan presentation and financial arrangements. Knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and collections. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency with dental practice management software (Dentrix experience preferred). Orthodontic office experience is a plus.
