Job Description

We are a privately owned dental practice that has proudly served our community for over 24 years. As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced, organized, and motivated Dental Office Manager/Treatment Coordinator to help lead our administrative operations and ensure an exceptional experience for our patients. Position Overview The Dental Office Manager/Treatment Coordinator plays a vital role in the success of our practice. This position combines patient care coordination, insurance management, financial oversight, and team leadership to ensure smooth daily operations and outstanding service. The ideal candidate will have strong dental insurance knowledge, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional attitude. Office hours are Monday, Wednesday 8-5 and Tuesday, Thursday 8-6. Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming experience for patients. Verify and update dental insurance benefits accurately. Submit insurance claims and pre-authorizations. Process insurance payments and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs). Manage patient billing, collections, and account balances. Present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements with patients. Follow up on outstanding insurance claims and accounts receivable. Coordinate patient treatment plans with the dentist, hygienists, and administrative team. Schedule appointments efficiently to support office productivity and patient care. Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries professionally and compassionately. Support the dentist in managing office operations and team performance. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and office policies and procedures. Support inventory and ordering of dental supplies. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of dental office management and insurance experience. Strong understanding of dental insurance verification, claims processing, and collections. Experience with Dentrix software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Exceptional attention to detail. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a supportive team culture.
