Cardiology Physician. Job in Norfolk Gr8Jobs

Directs and oversees the efficient and effective operations for multiple ambulatory practices and/or hospital based practices. Supervises Physicians Practice Leaders, Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians (Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and/or CRNAs) assigned to one or more practices. Works in conjunction with their operations dyad partner to develop and execute a strategic plan that aligns with the organizational objectives related to staffing, provider development, performance management, customer service/satisfaction, service delivery, quality, practice optimization, revenue enhancement, expense control, budgeting, regulatory compliance, safety and security.

Board certification in appropriate specialty. A minimum of 5 years clinical experience and at least one year of demonstrated leadership ability via practice leadership and/or serving on Sentara Healthcare or Sentara Medical Group committees and boards and/or participation in leadership development training sponsored by or approved by Sentara Medical Group. Completion of SHC/SMG sponsored or approved leadership development training and/or MBA or MHA is preferred.

MD, DO or DPM Licensure required.
