CVMC. POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Director of Operations, with matrix reporting to the Director of Nursing the Clinical Practice Manager is responsible for the management of operations and clinical practice. This includes, but is not limited to, the management of: clinical nursing practice, staff recruitment and retention, supply chain and budget, financial management, staffing, employee performance evaluation, quality improvement, Lean initiatives, staff education, internal and external regulatory and survey requirements. Collaborates with multiple professionals to support and coordinate the provision / management of patient centered care. Works closely with the Medical Director and staff in insuring that the practice maintains the highest standards of patient care and is responsive to the needs of the patient and family as well as the organization. The position will maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality and will work within the policies and procedures of Central Vermont Medical Center. The Clinical Practice Manager as the leader of the practice has the ability to create and empower teams to embrace and implement change that will improve the clinical, operational, and financial performance of the practice. The position is responsible for the physical practice location 24/7.
BASIC KNOWLEDGE
Graduate from an approved Professional Nursing Education Program. Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Health Care Administration or equivalent experience required. Current BLS certification required.
EXPERIENCE
Three to five years of medical office nursing experience required. Leadership experience required.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the MGP Practice Manager is responsible to ensure efficient operations of the medical practice(s) on a day-to-day basis and maintains professionalism and strict confidentiality and works within the policies and procedures of UVMHN
- Central Vermont Medical Center.
He/she collaborates with multiple professionals to support and direct the provision / management of patient-centered care and works as a dyad partner with the Medical Director to ensure that the practice maintains the highest standards of patient care and is responsive to the needs of the patient and family as well as the organization. The MGP Practice Manager is the primary contact for providers, manages administrative staff and leads nursing staff in conjunction with MGP Nursing Leadership. As the leader of the practice, the MGP Practice Manager has the ability to create and empower teams to embrace and implement change that will improve the clinical, operational, and financial performance of the practice. The position is responsible for the physical practice location 24/7.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
New applicants need to obtain Medical Office Management certification (aapc.com, pahcom.com or pmimd.com) within 24 months of the date of hire (cost to be covered by Central Vermont Medical Center). Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field with 3 to 5 years of relevant leadership experience preferred. Working toward a college degree for incumbents preferred. .
