As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for managing our staff, patients, and scheduling. Primary Role:
Maintaining order of dental office and staff, patient scheduling, and patient management
Duties:
Reception:
Open and close dental office according to office protocol Check and prepare daily schedule Answer and respond to telephone calls with professionalism Patient Management Maintain a professional reception area/office Greet and check in patients according to office protocol, verifying and updating health information Scheduling and confirming upcoming appointments Collect payment from patients at the time of treatment Gather and accurately record dental, medical, and insurance information from patients Securely store and handle records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Track cases and referrals to and from other doctors Insurance Keep patients' insurance information up to date Submit treatment plans for predetermination of benefits Prepare claim forms for patients with dental insurance Submit claim forms from office to dental benefits plans Billing Prepare and send billing statements promptly and accurately Post checks received each day Manage Accounts Receivable Staffing Overseeing and managing staff schedule Managing staff hours for payroll Holding team meetings
