This vital role combines administrative expertise with clinical understanding to ensure smooth daily operations, exceptional patient care, and efficient practice management. You will oversee staff supervision, financial management, compliance with healthcare regulations, and the implementation of office systems—all while fostering a welcoming environment for patients and team members alike. Your energetic approach will help elevate our practice to new heights of excellence and efficiency. Duties Lead and supervise dental office staff, including administrative personnel, dental assistants, and hygienists, ensuring high performance and team cohesion Manage daily clinic operations, including appointment scheduling, patient flow, and treatment coordination to optimize productivity Oversee fiscal management tasks such as budgeting, billing processes, insurance claims processing, and financial reporting using systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality of medical records and patient information Coordinate with dental practitioners to streamline clinical workflows while supporting medical administrative support functions Implement and monitor office policies related to medical records management, EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems, EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems, and practice standards like JCAHO accreditation requirements Handle human resources responsibilities including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution in accordance with healthcare management best practices Accounts receivable and collections oversight Monitor office performance and help improve systems and workflows Qualifications Proven experience managing a dental or medical office with strong knowledge of dental clinic operations and healthcare management principles Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Dentrix is highly desirable Strong understanding of dental terminology, dental records management, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare regulations Skilled in fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, managed care processes, and billing procedures Background in medical office administration or clinic experience within acute care or hospital settings is advantageous Excellent organizational skills combined with effective communication abilities to support human resources functions and office management tasks Embark on a rewarding career where your leadership fuels exceptional patient experiences while advancing your expertise in healthcare administration.
