Job Details:
Oversee daily operations of the optical store, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring a high level of customer service, and maintaining an organized and clean environment. Manage inventory, including ordering eyewear and contact lenses, conducting regular stock checks, and liaising with suppliers to negotiate prices and manage returns. Supervise and train optical staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards to ensure a knowledgeable and professional team. Perform eye measurements and adjustments, ensuring glasses and contact lenses fit correctly and meet the customer's needs and prescriptions. Handle customer complaints and issues, providing solutions that ensure customer satisfaction and maintain the store's reputation. Operating equipment, conducting pre-test diagnostic tests, and maintaining patient records. Assisting with insurance claims. Performing patient testing such as visual acuity, color vision, and depth perception. Preparing work orders for the optical laboratory. Experience in optical desired.
