Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dental Practice Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of a busy dental clinic. This role is vital in ensuring the practice runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably while maintaining exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, comprehensive medical office management experience, and a passion for fostering a positive environment for both staff and patients. As a key member of our team, you will coordinate administrative functions, manage financial processes, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and support clinical staff to deliver outstanding dental services. Duties Oversee all aspects of clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination to optimize efficiency and patient satisfaction Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, billing, coding, and insurance claims processing using systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks Supervise administrative and clinical staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and human resources functions Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality of medical records and patient information Coordinate with clinical teams to support medical management activities and ensure adherence to healthcare standards such as JCAHO accreditation requirements Oversee medical administrative support functions including EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems, EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems, and other healthcare IT platforms like Epic or eClinicalWorks Monitor clinic performance metrics related to utilization management, managed care contracts, and quality assurance programs Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation of dental procedures in accordance with legal standards Facilitate communication between patients, insurance providers, vendors, and clinical staff to promote seamless operations Experience Proven experience in medical office management within a dental or healthcare setting with a strong background in practice management Extensive knowledge of dental office procedures combined with familiarity in medical terminology and hospital or acute care environments Demonstrated supervisory experience overseeing administrative or clinical teams in a fast-paced healthcare setting Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks is highly preferred Strong fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial analysis, billing practices, and revenue cycle management Experience in human resources functions such as staffing, training, compliance with employment laws, and conflict resolution Knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance and JCAHO standards for quality assurance Background in managing medical records securely while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality across multiple platforms Join us as a Dental Practice Manager to lead our team toward excellence in patient care while driving operational success.
