Job Description

Overview Join a family owned and operated dental practice as an Office Manager, where your leadership and organizational skills will drive the success of our clinic. In this vital role, you will oversee daily administrative operations, manage staff, and ensure seamless patient experiences. Your expertise in office management, fiscal oversight, and team supervision will help foster a welcoming environment that prioritizes quality care and operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team in a fast-paced healthcare setting while utilizing your comprehensive knowledge of dental office systems and healthcare regulations. Responsibilities Supervise daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative workflows to ensure efficiency and high-quality service. Generate and analyze practice performance reports; recommend and implement efficiency improvements. Oversee patient billing, insurance verification, claims follow-up, and account receivable in coordination with billing staff. Coordinate with dentist on human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development to build a motivated and compliant team. Maintain medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and data security. Utilize dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft to schedule appointments, process billing, and manage electronic health records. Ensure adherence to healthcare standards such as OSHA regulations for safety and quality assurance. Oversee clinic supplies inventory, equipment maintenance, and facility management to support smooth daily operations. Qualifications Proven experience in medical or dental office management with strong supervisory skills. Extensive knowledge of dental office systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks is highly desirable. Solid understanding of dental billing, insurance processes, and compliance requirements. Familiarity with healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance, OSHA standards, and managed care protocols. Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and clinical workflows within a dental or healthcare setting. Excellent leadership abilities with experience in human resources functions such as hiring, training, and performance management. Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail across multiple tasks.
