Job Description

We are looking for a highly professional, dependable treatment coordinator who will work alongside our office manager to act as the liaison between patients and our doctors. You'll ensure exceptional customer service and lift administrative tasks off the dentist's shoulders. You will oversee a team of schedulers. Thus, managerial skills are a must. You need to be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. You should be familiar with the dental field with previous work experience and/or training. Dental assistants or hygienists are welcome to apply. Salary will be based on experience and credentialing. Responsibilities Welcome/greet patients in the dental office Manage and schedule appointments Assist with patient accounts (explain benefits, communicate insurance concerns, manage insurance disputes) Research insurance to help better serve our patients Verify the patient's insurance benefits Enter data using dental practice management software (Eaglesoft by Patterson) Excell in insurance billing and accounts receivable Collect payments Process insurance payments and refunds Monitor weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to confirm payment from clients and insurance companies Skills Proven experience as a receptionist, insurance/treatment coordinator, and/or office manager Experience with accounts receivable Desire to make this position a career Good computer skills Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable Previous dental/medical office experience (preferred)
