Full Job Description Medical Records Clerk Responsibilities:
Gather patient medical records and documents from internal and external sources. Issue medical records to persons and agencies according to laws and regulations. Distribute medical records to the appropriate staff and providers. Maintain quality and accurate records by following endoscopy procedures. Ensure patient charts, paperwork, tasks and reports are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Make sure all medical records are protected and kept confidential. File all patients' medical records and information. Complete clerical duties including scanning documents, emailing results, calling other medical institutions.
Medical Records Clerk Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Advanced understanding of medical terminology and administration processes. Proficient in information management programs, Adobe and MS Office. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
