Schedule:
Mon•Fri Role Overview Are you willing to go the extra mile to deliver exceptional customer service? In this role, you will serve as one of the first points of contact for patients seeking clinical services. Responsibilities include registering patients, collecting payments, and preparing and maintaining electronic medical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Your interactions will help create a positive and lasting experience for the individuals you serve. Required Skills Patient registration HIPAA compliance Collecting payments Preparing and maintaining electronic medical records Customer service Computer proficiency Preferred Skills Bilingual in English and Spanish Required Experience Minimum of 6 months of experience registering patients in an electronic medical records system within a healthcare setting. A combination of post-secondary education and/or relevant job-related experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis. Preferred Experience Experience gathering patient information and creating medical records Cashiering or cash-handling experience Required Education High School Diploma or GED A combination of post-secondary education and/or relevant job-related experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis. Preferred Education Certification as a Public Health Worker or Community Health Worker from an accredited institution, or current enrollment in a Public Health or Community Health Worker program with eligibility to obtain certification within six (6) months of hire.
