: $21 on w2 without benefits Position Summary Maricopa County is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Administrative Specialist to provide administrative and operational support for the Community Health & Records Services Division. This role will assist with coordinating projects, managing administrative processes, maintaining accurate records, supporting clinic operations, and ensuring efficient delivery of public health services. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced public health environment. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to department leadership and program teams. Coordinate daily administrative activities, schedules, documentation, and operational tasks. Assist with project coordination, tracking assignments, and monitoring deadlines. Maintain accurate records, files, databases, and department documentation. Perform data entry and quality checks to ensure information accuracy. Manage inventory records, supplies, and operational resources. Prepare reports, presentations, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other business documents. Utilize Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and web-based applications. Support communication and collaboration across internal teams and external partners. Assist with public health and clinic-related administrative activities. Travel between Maricopa County clinic locations as required. Follow county policies, procedures, confidentiality standards, and compliance requirements. Perform other administrative duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 3 years of responsible clerical and/or administrative experience. Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with:
Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint Teams Web-based applications Strong data entry and documentation skills. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications Experience working in:
Public health Healthcare Clinical settings Social services Non-profit organizations Public administration Microsoft SharePoint experience. Bilingual English/Spanish skills. Notary Public experience. Some college coursework in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field. Additional Requirements Must obtain and maintain an Arizona Department of Public Safety Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card. Must successfully complete required background screening. Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Arizona driver's license. Ability to travel between Maricopa County clinic locations.
