Medical Records (Arizona)

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Medical Records to oversee medical records operations and ensure the accuracy, security, and timely management of patient documentation.

Responsibilities:

Maintain, organize, and secure patient medical records in compliance with HIPAA and company policies. Create and maintain new patient clinical records. File, track, and retrieve patient documentation and physician orders. Monitor medical record checkin/checkout processes. Manage discharged patient records and coordinate chart reviews with the Quality Improvement Department. Develop systems to improve record organization and document retrieval. Assist with employee orientation and provide administrative support as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Administrator.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in medical records management or healthcare administration preferred. Strong organizational, clerical, and communication skills. Professional telephone etiquette and attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information. Proficiency in recordkeeping and office administrative functions.
