$21/hr Overview We're hiring a Medical Records Clerk to support a Busy Specialty Medical Center seeing 120-200 patients daily across multiple specialties. This role is critical to keeping patient information accurate, organized, and compliant , ensuring providers and staff have what they need to deliver high‑quality care in a fast‑paced clinical environment. If you're detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable working behind the scenes to support patient care, this role was built for you. What You'll Be Doing Maintain, organize, and manage patient medical records in compliance with HIPAA Review records for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation Scan, upload, and index medical documents into the EMR system Retrieve and distribute medical records for providers and authorized requests Process medical record requests from patients, providers, and insurance companies Handle Release of Information (ROI) requests efficiently and securely Collaborate with front and back office teams to ensure smooth record flow Support daily administrative and operational tasks related to health information management Must‑Have Skills Medical records or healthcare administrative experience EMR/EHR proficiency Knowledge of medical terminology Strong attention to detail and accuracy Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Nice‑to‑Have Skills Ambulatory or specialty clinic experience ROI processing experience Scanning and document management experience Strong customer service and communication skills Schedule Monday-Friday | 8:30am-5:00pm No nights.
