• This role is on-site Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm
• Day to

Day:

• Ensures accurate, regulatory and legally compliant patient health records and requests.
• Responsibilities include reviewing the comprehensive patient medical record for accuracy and timeliness of documentation in the electronic health record
• Prepares and analyzes requested information for internal and external entities.
• Works closely with medical staff, attorneys and other third party requestors to provide reports.
• Responsible for validating information in the work queue and making corrections including incomplete documentation, missing information for coding/billing, and timeliness of patient requested information.
• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience in the healthcare Acute Care setting, customer service skills, knowledge of Health Information Management policies and procedure, Registered Health Information Management Technician (RHIT) or education in Health Information Management, Previous skills in Release of Patient Information, Knowledge of HIPAA.

MUST HAVE EPIC EXPERIENCE

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
