Job Description

What you'll do: Manages facility medical records, including assembly, labeling, filing, cleaning, and purging documents Compiles statistical data as directed by the Administrator Ensures confidentiality and security of health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Oversees preparation and submission of annual OSHPD and other required reports Performs scheduled audits of medical records and documentation Reviews resident charts for deficiencies and assists in correction processes Issues deficiency reports and tracks completion deadlines for corrections Coordinates 10A documentation, obtains DON approval, and submits to Business Office Performs additional duties as assigned What we offer: Competitive hourly paybased on experience 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options Generouspaidtime off(PTO) What we're looking for: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred Experience as a medical records practitioner in a long-term care setting required Experience with computer data entry required Exposure to body fluids and communicable diseases Full range of motion required, including handling and lifting patients Ability to lift, push, or pull 50-100 lbs. unassisted Ability to stand for extended periods of time Adequate vision and hearing (with or without assistive devices) to perform duties Why us: Our Medical Records team care for a geriatric population that depends on consistent, knowledgeable, and compassionate care.
