Job Description

What you need to know about this position: Pediatric office with 9 physicians, 24 exam rooms and seeing an average of 90-130 patients per day ranging from 2 days old to 19 years old. Established in 1974, Columbus Pediatrics has been honored to meet the newborn, pediatric and adolescent healthcare needs of families for over 40 years. This position provides leadership support to medical practice, in addition to performance of all front office medical receptionist duties. The Front Office Specialist position has a base hourly rate of $16.16. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions. This position will require you to work primarily 8:00am to 5:00pm with varying shift times as needed, Monday through Friday and one Saturday a month. What is required for this position: High School Diploma or GED required Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferred Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situation where only limited standardization exists
Physical Demands:
The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; must frequently lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
