  • The Credentialing Specialist manages the full-cycle credentialing and reappointment process for Medical and Allied Health Professionals. Acting as a primary liaison between applicants and the Medical Staff Offices, this role ensures regulatory compliance and smooth departmental operations in collaboration with the Sr. Credentialing Specialist and CCRD Manager.

Application Management:
  • Guide new applicants and existing staff through the entire credentialing and reappointment lifecycle, ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted on schedule. +
  • Communication & Liaison:
  • Serve as the central point of contact for Medical/Allied Health Staff and Medical Staff Offices, providing clear guidance and updates regarding credentialing status. +
  • Compliance & Auditing:
  • Verify professional licenses, certifications, education, and work history to maintain strict adherence to healthcare regulatory standards and hospital bylaws. +
  • Data Integrity:
  • Maintain highly confidential applicant files and update provider databases with precise, up-to-date information. +
  • Process Support:
  • Assist the Sr. Credentialing Specialist and CCRD Manager with departmental workflows and special credentialing projects.
