Responsibilities of Medical Records Specialist /
Receptionist :
Manage, maintain, and audit resident medical records in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements (CMS, state guidelines, HIPAA) Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely updating of all medical records documentation Organize, file, retrieve, and track medical records as needed Assist with chart preparation, admissions, discharges, and record requests Perform general front desk reception duties, including greeting visitors and assisting inquiries Answer and route incoming telephone calls professionally and efficiently Support administrative functions to ensure smooth daily facility operations Maintain strict confidentiality of all resident and facility information Qualifications for Medical Records Specialist /
Receptionist :
Minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in Medical Records, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing facility setting, or completion of relevant education/training in medical records or health information management Strong knowledge of medical records processes, documentation standards, and confidentiality requirements Ability to work in a high-paced, sometimes distracting environment Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills Walk-in Interviews Welcome Monday to Friday from 10 am to 4 pm!
