Job Description

Work Schedule:
100% FTE, Days. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. This is a hybrid position with possible weekly onsite requirements. When in-person you will work at 8501 Excelsior Drive in Madison, WI. This will be discussed in the interview process. Be part of something remarkable Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! We are seeking a Data Quality Specialist to: Communicate with other departments internally and with external organizations to update provider routing information. Research missing provider and/or facility contact information and follow up accordingly. Monitor electronic medical record for failed documentation and research accordingly for appropriate routing. Education:
Minimum•General Equivalency Diploma (GED). Preferred•High School Diploma.
Work Experience:
Preferred•Six months of work experience in a records-oriented setting. One-year experience in a clinical or Health Information Management Department of a large health care facility.
Licenses and Certifications:
Preferred•RHIT or RHIA preferred.
