This position is responsible for coordinating the credentialing, recredentialing, and privileging processes for all NWOS medical providers. The Credentialing Specialist will maintain accurate and up-to-date provider and facility information within credentialing databases and online systems, ensuring timely renewals of licenses, certifications, and other required credentials. This is NOT a remote position but has the potential to develop into a flexible, hybrid schedule.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Compiles and maintains current and accurate data for all providers and NWOS locations. Assists in provider credentialing and re-credentialing applications; monitors applications and follows-up as needed. Maintains knowledge of current health plan and payer requirements for credentialing providers and NWOS locations. Uses online data management and application processes. Sets up and maintains provider information in online credentialing databases and system. Assists in tracking license and certification expirations for all providers to ensure timely renewals. Ensures practice addresses are current with health plans, agencies and other entities. Assists in tracking license, DEA and professional liability expirations for appointed ASC providers. Maintains ASC appointment files, and information in credentialing database.QUALIFICATIONS
Previous credentialing experience Experience in compliance, billing/coding office administration Medical office experience preferredWAGE RANGE
$20.50 to $37.12SHIFT:
3 days per week. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm OR 8:30- 5:00 pmBENEFITS
