Description We are seeking a detail‑oriented and dependable Medical Records Clerk to support the accurate management and maintenance of patient records in a healthcare setting. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, discreet, and comfortable working with confidential information.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Maintain, organize, and accurately file medical records (electronic and/or paper) + Retrieve, scan, and upload patient documentation into medical record systems + Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards + Respond to internal and external requests for medical records + Audit records for completeness and accuracy + Assist with chart preparation and record retention processes + Work closely with clinical and administrative staff as needed
