$22.74 - 33.95 per hour, payable bi-weekly. The salary scale for this position is between steps 0 and 19, depending on experience. This is a non-exempt, 22 weekly hours. This is a union position. About Us Seattle Roots Community Health is a not-for-profit organization that operates two primary care clinics, an After-Hours Clinic, two School-Based Health Centers, a low barrier Medication-assisted treatment clinic and a Dental Clinic. Our Carolyn Downs Family Medical Center was founded in 1970 in Seattle's Central District. Our Country Doctor Community Clinic was established in 1971 by residents of the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Job Summary Through efficient maintenance of patient's medical records, you can play a significant role in facilitating the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to the patients of Country Doctor Community Health Centers. Your clerical support to the medical and outreach staff can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.Qualifications:
You have a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate You can use a computer proficiently and use MS Word, Excel, and various computer software programs You can maintain strict confidentiality, security, and physical safety measures to safeguard the patient's medical records in accordance with HIPPA standards You can manage incoming faxes and mail with patient medical records, filing in EPIC, and routing for signatures. Also, process requests for information and release according to statutes Retrieving archived paper charts for providers and other staff as needed. Ensuring maintenance of medical records archives and document releases and communications appropriately in the electronic health record Preferably, you have one year of medical records experience Preferably, you have experience using an EMR system, preferably EPIC Benefits We provide a robust suite of benefits, including the choice of three medical plans, two dental plans, long-term disability, life, and other insurance programs.
