Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Administrative Director to lead and oversee the administrative functions within our healthcare practice. This pivotal role involves managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, supervising administrative staff, and optimizing office workflows. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in medical office management, strong leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of healthcare systems and policies. Your energetic approach will drive efficiency, foster a positive team environment, and support the delivery of exceptional patient care. Duties Lead and supervise administrative teams across multiple departments, including medical records, billing, human resources, and office management. Oversee fiscal management activities such as budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency. Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems including EMR (Electronic Medical Records) managing compliance with HIPAA regulations. Ensure adherence to healthcare policies, state and federal regulations such as JCAHO standards and health regulation policies. Coordinate with clinical staff to streamline medical office operations, including appointment scheduling, patient intake processes, and medical administrative support. Implement and monitor quality assurance protocols related to medical records management, utilization management, managed care contracts, and billing procedures. Foster a collaborative environment by managing human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives. Requirements ABA therapy experience a plus Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administration with supervisory responsibilities. Strong knowledge of fiscal management including budgeting and financial oversight within a healthcare setting. Extensive familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as similar platforms. Demonstrated understanding of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance and health policy standards like JCAHO accreditation. Experience managing teams in diverse clinical environments such as hospitals, dental clinics or veterinary practices is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, nursing or acute care experience is a plus. Join us in leading our healthcare practice into a future of excellence!
