Job Description
When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you're making a difference in people's lives. The Medical Records Manager manages and oversees the daily operations for the workflow involving Home Health and a collaboration with Hospice medical records operations. Responsible for the accuracy, completeness and confidentiality involved in the medical record process. Ensures that all healthcare information management processes and practices comply with applicable HIPAA and federal regulations. Will manage any subordinate staff in the day to day performance in their jobs.
Job Description:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to: Works with the Director of Business Operations to provide direction and oversight to the functions related to the flow of orders and medical record processes. • Develops and collaborates with the leadership team to provide key operational changes as it relates to the medical record department. Trains and oversees the process for scanning info into the media manager in Epic. Interacts with various departments in the organization to assure the optimal flow of processes and patient information Helps design internal workflows and trains staff to assure processes are followed and successful. Oversees the medical record requests process as it relates to compliancy. • Performs work responsibilities while staying in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Conducts performance appraisals for assigned staff. Participate in departmental and/or interdepartmental quality improvement activities. Participate in and successfully completes Mandatory Education. Perform all other duties as needed or directed to meet the needs of the departmentPay Range:
$66,560.00 USD - $89,856.00 USD The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
