The Medical Staff Services Supervisor provides strategic oversight of credentialing operations and supervises MSS credentialing and privileging personnel. This leadership role ensures regulatory compliance, optimizes workflow efficiency, and drives performance through effective resource management and staff development initiatives. The Supervisor is responsible for workforce planning, setting clear operational expectations, and aligning team efforts with organizational goals. Collaborating closely with Manager, Credentialing, Privileging, and Enrollment, this role manages key human resources functions including talent acquisition, performance management, and corrective action planning. Additionally, the Supervisor leads process improvement projects, supports change management efforts, and serves as operational backup to ensure continuity and high-quality service delivery.EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION
A minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible experience in a health care setting is required. In lieu of experience a Bachelor's Degree plus 1 year experience in health care setting will be considered. Supervisory experience is preferred. Experience in coaching, mentoring and use of interpersonal skills is preferred. 3-5 years of credentialing and/or Medical Staff Office experience is preferred.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION
High School diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred.SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION
Skill in planning, organizing, delegating and supervising. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision making and problem solving expertise. Knowledge of medical terminology. Demonstrated knowledge in other applications and tools related to medical staff credentialing. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Compensation, Benefits & Perks at Froedtert Health Pay is expected to be between: (expressed as hourly) $26.56- $45.44. Final compensation is based on experience and will be discussed with you by the recruiter during the interview process.
