$24.50•$42.00 hourly Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. The position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek. Job Type Contractor with Benefits Department Public Health About the Position Join a mission-driven team that helps power critical healthcare services by supporting and enhancing the Community Health & Records Services (CHRS) electronic health records (EHR) system. In this role, you will work hands-on with healthcare technology by onboarding and supporting users, troubleshooting system and hardware issues, maintaining clinical software and equipment, and helping improve system interoperability across multiple healthcare functions. You will collaborate closely with clinical staff, vendors, project teams, and IT professionals to ensure reliable and efficient technology support that directly impacts patient care and operational success. Work With Us | Maricopa County, AZ We Require One year of experience with EHR systems, clinical databases, health information workflows, and/or system troubleshooting and user support Associate's degree in Health Information Technology, Health Informatics, Medical Records Technology, Information Systems or Healthcare Administration A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis. Other Requirements Successful candidates must currently possess, or have the ability to obtain, a valid Arizona Driver's license by the time of hire Must secure and maintain an Arizona Department of Public Safety Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card and complete a background check Within one month of hire, all employees will be required to provide evidence of immunity or receive immunizations for vaccine-preventable illnesses for any position within the Maricopa County Department of Public Health; required immunizations include MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), Tdap (whooping cough and diphtheria), Varicella (chickenpox), and annual Influenza; some positions require a Hepatitis B vaccine and/or a Tuberculosis test We Also Value Experience working in a clinic or hospital setting Understanding of HIPAA regulations, healthcare documentation standards, and patient data security Job Contributions Support the Community Health & Records Services (CHRS) electronic health records (EHR) system and related clinical applications by onboarding and offboarding users, troubleshooting system and user issues, coordinating with vendors, and providing technical support. Install, configure, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CHRS and Clinical Services hardware, software, and peripheral systems used in clinics, laboratory, and pharmacy operations Maintain inventories of CHRS and Clinical Services hardware and software assets; assist with clinic and office moves, equipment deployments, and technology setup activities. Create, maintain, and run EHR and clinical systems reports; review, communicate, and resolve HL7 e

transmissions and interface issues. Identify, report, troubleshoot, and support resolution of system interface and interoperability issues in coordination with project teams, vendors, ETI, MCDPH, and the Arizona Department of Health Services. Support CHRS clinical technology initiatives, EHR enhancement projects, vendor coordination activities, and other related duties as assigned, including scheduling and coordinating meetings with software and hardware vendors to support EHR and clinical systems development. Working Conditions Exerting 20-25 lbs. occasionally, 10-25 lbs. frequently, or up to 10 lbs. constantly Position is typically office or administrative work and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
