Job Description

Millinocket Regional Hospital has an opening for a full -time Incomplete Record Processing Technician.
Main Functions:
Will include answering phone, chart retrieval, scanning of all paper records retrieved from Emergency Room, Ambulatory Surgery, and Inpatients, charging E&M levels for providers for observation and inpatients, faxing of emergency room reports and radiology reports to providers and release of information.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Preferably successful completion of a medical secretarial course and/or medical record course. Requires computer and typing skills at an intermediate level to advanced level. The position requires extensive interaction with physicians, and intermediate interaction with physician office personnel and public. Knowledge of E&M coding preferable.
General Information:
