Share this job Description Since 1905, The Bradley Center has continually served children and families in need. Today, the residential treatment facility provides 24 hour care and trauma-informed treatment to children who have a history of trauma and who may present with a wide range of challenges. We are seeking a Medical Records Technician to organize and direct the activities of the Medical Records Department.
Primary responsibilities include:
Maintains accuracy of all client related charts
Tracks deficiencies and keeps staff and supervisors informed
Ensures all documentation is filed in a timely manner
Completing record requests Qualifications best suited for this position: Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Organizational skills
Analytical thinking
Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy laws
Ability to work in a team environment
Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience in the Health Information Management or related field required
Knowledge of regulatory agency standards including Joint Commission, State Department of Health, and HCFA required
Must be at least 21 years of age
