Responsibilities:
The Medical Records Technician is responsible for supporting the retrieval and management of medical records for EverSpring customers. This role collaborates with facilities and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely documentation and supports processes related to medication record flow and verification. Your essential duties include the following: Retrieve, process, and maintain medical records in accordance with established policies and procedures Ensure accuracy and completeness of medical records and documentation Support timely processing of medication-related documentation to ensure records are correct and up to date Utilize tracking tools to maintain and report on medical records activity and status Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to support record requests and follow-ups Assist in maintaining workflows, job aids, and procedural documentation Identify discrepancies or non-compliance issues and escalate as appropriate Participate in process improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and accuracy Perform other duties as assigned Tasks and responsibilities are subject to change at your supervisor's discretion Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
Qualifications:
Pharmacy experience with knowledge of medications Experience working in a fast-paced, team-based environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Demonstrated problem-solving skills and proactive approach to tasks Effective communication skills
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in Internet browsers (e.g., Chrome, Firefox) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) Experience with EMR systems and medical billing platforms preferred
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
