HOSPICE OPERATIONS SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
Full Time (Cumberland County)
Job Description:
Assist in performing receptionist duties. Assist in managing iing and outgoing mail. Process and enter daily reports of visits, flow notes, and medical supplies. Establish and maintain client medical records in accordance with agency policy and procedure. Order, receive, and stock medical supplies and maintain inventory control in accordance with established agency policy and procedure. Assist in performing cross-training. Implement infection and exposure control measures in accordance with the agency exposure control plan. Perform miscellaneous clerical functions in an accurate and timely manner.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Two (2) years of general office experience and data entry experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. Excellent interpersonal skills and knowledge of telephone etiquette. Ability tomunicate clearly, using good grammar. Strongputer skills to include working knowledge of mostmonly use software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.). Ability to type 45 to 50 WPM and proficiency with a 10-key calculator. Goodanizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to read and interpret policies, procedures, and guidelines. Strong knowledge in medical terminology.
