In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and supporting the efficient operation of medical information systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and a solid understanding of medical terminology. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to quality patient care through precise management of health information. Duties Accurately input, update, and retrieve patient information within electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure data integrity. Organize and maintain comprehensive medical records in accordance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards. Review medical documentation for completeness, accuracy, and consistency; resolve discrepancies as needed. Assist healthcare providers by preparing reports, summaries, and data extracts from medical records. Ensure confidentiality and security of all health information in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support billing and coding processes by verifying medical documentation aligns with coding requirements. Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth documentation workflows and resolve record-related issues. Conduct periodic audits of medical records to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards. Stay updated on changes in healthcare regulations related to health information management.

Days 6:30 am to 2:30 pm HC1
Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
