JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Coordinates accreditation criteria to ensure that the bariatric surgery program meets expectations set forth by governing agencies.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Bariatric Surgery combines outstanding medical quality with a compassionate, comprehensive follow-up program. Our approach focuses on four key components to ensure greater outcomes and long-term success for our patients: evaluation, education and program overview, surgery and hospital care, and follow-up and support.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
Current Registered Dietitian through the CDR and unencumbered Oregon Dietetic License required. Healthcare Provider Level BLS required upon hire. Board Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management (CSOWM) required within one (1) year of hire. Experience in the area of bariatrics preferred.

Effective written and oral communication skills to explain complex issues, exchange information between team members, and tactfully discuss quality issues. Ability to perform group presentations and listen to and understand complex information and ideas.
