Retrieves individual medical records from the terminal digit system for scheduled appointments. Collects and organizes da for stistical reports, audits, and/or research projects. Reviews records for correct form, serviceability, and completeness. Performs annual records retirement separing, screening, selecting, assembling, packing, and preparing records for shipment. Maintains control of medical records th are highly sensitive. Receives request for copies of medical records for pients, other Medical Trement Facilities and insurance companies Follows established procedures to ensure the confidentiality of all health informion. Directs pients to various hospital clinics, administrive departments, laborory, X-ray site, etc. Receives pients an open counter Requirements Help Conditions of employment This position is subject to a background investigion to determine your suitability for Federal employment. Successful completion of four years of educion above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. (Note:
