2 Nashville, TN Job Details Full-time $48,064 a year 2 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Qualifications Administrative experience High school diploma or GED Driver's License Clerical experience Productivity software Full Job Description Position Description The Records Management Division of the Metro Nashville Public Health Department provides all services related to the maintenance and retention of public, medical, and vital records maintained by MPHD in Davidson County. This position's primary role will be to archive records and assist with vital, medical, and non-medical records for customer service as needed. Typical Duties Prepares all files and documents received from MPHD Clinics and operations, separating as appropriate. Scans files and documents as required. Catalogs files and documents and bar codes all boxes in preparation for storage, retention and potential retrieval from the Metro Records Center. Travels to outlying clinics to obtain and secure records for transmittal to MPHD for processing. Escorts vendors to MPHD records destruction areas to gather files and documents and submit them for destruction pursuant to Metro records retention policy. Travels to Metro Records Center for archival and/or destruction per policy. Prepare monthly reports. Perform in any area of customer service depending upon staffing levels, emergency needs, or other factors. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma and three (4) years of clerical/administrative experience. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft office required. Valid license, use of personal vehicle, and maintenance of valid personal vehicle insurance as required by Tennessee Law. Candidates with accreditations earned in a foreign institute are encouraged to apply, however, at the present time MPHD is not sponsoring individuals through any of the US Government's employment-based immigration programs. Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of O'Neil Software.
Working Environment/Physical Demands:
Must be able to regularly assemble bankers boxes; fill and lift loaded boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds. Full-time, Civil Service positions
