- Position Overview
- Datavant is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused
- Release of Information (ROI) Health Information Specialist
- ? Key Responsibilities
- + Process Release of Information (ROI) requests accurately and efficiently + Retrieve and compile medical records from EMR systems + Ensure HIPAA compliance when handling all protected health information + Pull and generate reports as needed + Perform administrative functions related to ROI processing + Maintain organized documentation and tracking of requests + Communicate effectively with healthcare staff, patients, and requestors + Provide coverage support when onsite staff are out (PTO/call-outs) + Maintain productivity and quality standards •?

- Hands-on, role-specific training during the first 30 days
- ? Preferred Skills
- + Strong communication skills
- Understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy regulations
- Computer proficiency and data entry accuracy
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- ? Qualifications
- + High School Diploma or GED required + Must be 18 years of age or older + Ability to commute between locations as needed.
