In this vital role, you will manage patient interactions, coordinate appointments, handle medical administrative tasks, and ensure smooth clinic operations. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will help create a positive experience for every patient while supporting the clinical team with accurate documentation and efficient office management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated pediatric practice committed to exceptional patient service. Duties Greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression Schedule appointments using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification processes; Insurance verification experience
REQUIRED
Collect payments and perform medical collections while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures with accuracy and efficiency Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, providing clear information and routing calls appropriately Maintain accurate medical records, including documentation review, filing, and updating patient information Support clinic staff with tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing medical records Ensure compliance with HIPAA privacy standards and confidentiality protocols at all times Requirements Proven experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment; Pediatriac experience highly desirable Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems Knowledge of medical terminology and billing Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and office management software Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and data entry Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and health information management practices Prior front desk or administrative support experience in a healthcare setting is required Referral experience is a plus Join our team as a Medical Front Desk Receptionist where your enthusiasm for helping others combined with your administrative expertise will make a meaningful difference every day.
