Role:
We are seeking a Part-Time Mobile Health Unit Front Desk Receptionist to support our mobile healthcare services. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and efficient experience while supporting daily operations across mobile clinic locations. This position requires flexibility, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, community-based healthcare environment. •
APPROXIMATELY 20 HOURS PER WEEK
Key Responsibilities:
Greet, check in, and assist patients and visitors in a professional and compassionate manner Manage patient flow within the mobile health unit to ensure timely and efficient service Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records in the scheduling system Answer incoming calls, route inquiries appropriately, and take detailed messages Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays and required documentation Accurately record patient sign-ins and post payments into the system Balance and reconcile daily receipts and revenue reports Assist with clerical duties, including correspondence, forms, and documentation Support other mobile health services as needed Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations Travel to various mobile clinic locations as scheduled Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 6 months of experience in a medical, front desk, or office setting preferred Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills Experience with patient scheduling and insurance verification preferred Ability to work independently and adapt to changing locations and schedules Friendly, dependable, and professional demeanor Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between mobile clinic sites
